Made in Port Shepstone since 1983
Goldenglo and our sister company, Sunola Oil Mills, make cooking oil, soap, candles, margarine and shortening in KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng. Here's how one candle machine became a family of factories.

We enter the cooking-oil market by founding Sunola Oil Mills (Pty) Ltd, with a vegetable oil refinery and packing plant in Port Shepstone.
- 1998 The first Sunola Oil Mills cooking oils reach the shelves.
- 2013 An oil packing facility opens in Johannesburg.
- 2020 A Johannesburg oil refinery strengthens our reach in Gauteng and beyond.
- TodayOne of South Africa's leading oil, candle and soap manufacturers, with products sold across the country and in Eswatini, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Angola.
